Compact and low-priced standard type
The torsionally flexible, fail-safe shaft coupling ROFLEX N is a compact, two-part shaft coupling acc. to DIN 740 for torsional vibration damping power transmisstion. The compact design of the ROFLEX N results in a small shaft distance dimension or DBSE „Distance Between Shaft Ends“.
The cam and pocket sections are made of cast iron making the standard type ROFLEX-N particularly low-priced.
For mounting the shaft coupling the hubs are simply pushed on the shafts and axially fastened via setscrews. ROFLEX N reliably transmits torques up to 5,000 Nm.
A prerequisite for use in general mechanical engineering and the pump industry is the ATEX certificate and the EAC certificate both of which ROFLEX N and ROFLEX SH comply with. The type examination certificate is attached to the assembly instructions. Both can be found under the menu item "service".
